Backed by Blue (AKA B3) is “an angel investing syndicate and entrepreneurial community led by Facebook alumni and employees to launch, support, and invest in top startups.” B3 is one of a few ex-Facebook funds that I’ve been connecting founders featured on Premoney to, to raise allocations from others in the tech space. This week, they are hosting a demo day to specifically highlight 5 high value that they are opening up to the rest of the Premoney community.

On Thursday, 4/28 at 11AM PT, B3 will be hosting a demo day highlighting five breakout companies run by ex-FB founders that are currently raising competitive rounds. Through the event, you'll have the opportunity to invest alongside top-tier co-investors that include:

Description: Today, 80% of food orders in LATAM are still made over the phone and paid cash. With OlaClick, restaurants create their digital menu, promote it in one click, and start receiving food orders.
Traction:
Launched one year ago, OlaClick now supports +35,000 active restaurants (60% in Brazil and Mexico).
+$75M in annualized GMV.
The founding team has diverse backgrounds within large companies in LATAM (Google, Facebook, Redbus) and one prior exit.
There is only $100k allocation left in the round and it will be exclusively available via the B3 Demo Day.

Description: You can think of Marco as: Masterclass meets Airbnb Experiences for companies. Marco has served 500+ companies (50k+ attended individuals) including household names like Apple, Facebook, Netflix, Uber, Coinbase, Figma, Gusto, and Slack.
Traction:
Annualized GMV of $5.7M (7x growth YoY).
Net revenue run rate of $1.3M (4x growth YoY).
5x market place inventory in the last 6 months.
Signed 12 customers in less than two months for its new enterprise offering (~$5M spend over the next year).
